After school, I crossed the big pond for my first American adventure, which was working as an au pair in Washington D. C. During my studies of British & American literature and culture, I spent another year in the U.S., this time in Boston. Full-on American college experience for the German expat: check. After a detour through Switzerland, I now live and work in London. I'm a passionate photographer and apart from “all things American” (I'm sorry, my dear islanders), I can be wowed with good food – especially with delicious cakes and desserts – that I usually capture with my phone or camera before devouring.
