The TOEIC Speaking & Writing test is one of the two versions of the TOEIC. It is the more recent version, and it is less popular with test takers than the TOEIC Listening & Reading test.
The TOEIC Speaking & Writing test lasts approximately 80 minutes, with the first 20 minutes dedicated to speaking and the remaining hour to writing. The entire test is taken on a computer, so candidates must be able to type their written answers, and they record their spoken answers for scoring later.
The TOEIC Speaking & Writing test is scored on a range of 0 to 400, with equal weight given to speaking (0-200 points) and writing (also 0-200 points). This version of the TOEIC can be taken at the same test session as the Reading & Listening test, or it can be taken by itself. It is possible to take one section of the test separately from the other section, that is to say only the speaking section or only the writing section.
