EF Reviews: France

The overall experience was outstanding. I learned so much—how to live on my own, navigate life at 17 without my parents, and appreciate what I have. I grew in ways I could never have imagined. Plus, my French improved significantly! Thank you for the best year of my life!

I do not know how to socialize or at least how to start socializing. The activities at EF helped me with that a lot. I traveled with EF to Paris to improve my French, but I learned even more about spending time with other people and exploring a great city.

My experience at EF Nice was truly wonderful. Everyone—staff, teachers, and fellow students—was amazing. I believe my French has greatly improved. I hope to return one day! My host family made the experience exceptional for me as well!

The intensity with which you learn French in Paris with EF is difficult to find elsewhere. You are surrounded by language, from morning to night. Additionally, you get the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people from various cultures and age groups, making new friends along the way.

The teachers are very patient and understand that sometimes it's difficult. But they always take the time to explain to you because they want to help. I think emails concerning details/accomodation should always be in both English and mothertongue, not nly French is difficult, in order to allow beginners to understand.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. My host family was wonderful; I'd visit and recommend them time and again. The location in St. Raphaël was fantastic, allowing me to meet many great new people. The leaders were also outstanding.
