Step 2
Ace your video interview
The interview is a chance for the Recruitment Team to get to know you.
It takes place via video call and lasts around 30 minutes. The meeting is one-to-one between you and one of the UK based team.
Step 3
Get your offer and start teaching!
Sign your contract, complete your online training, meet your mentor and get to know the teaching platform. Once complete, you’re ready to teach. Don’t worry, our UK team will be there with you every step of the way.
Get your 40-hour TEFL Certificate
TEFL stands for “Teaching English as a Foreign Language”, and it is a standard certification for English teachers. You can start working on your certification while you apply, or our team is happy to share their knowledge of available courses.
Please note, the cost of your TEFL will not be reimbursed.
Can I teach English online with no experience?
Yes, absolutely! Some applicants come to teaching English online with years of classroom or ESL experience. Others simply have a passion to share their knowledge and inspire others.
During your interview, your Recruiter will want to hear about your interest in teaching English online. If you don’t have any previous teaching experience, the conversation will focus on your motivation and your TEFL qualification.
The Recruitment team will take all aspects of your background into account. You can definitely teach English online with no experience - life experience always counts!
